Bathrooms Before and After: Bringing Designs To Life

Master bathroom traditional bathtub 3D design

Here at & So To Bathe, we love showing off our designs of bathrooms before and after completion. Virtual images are the cornerstone of our design process, and we have track record of bringing homeowners’ visions to life with impressive accuracy.

Here’s a selection of our very best designs from the past 18 months. The projects are remarkably diverse, but the overall effect is the same: bathrooms that look almost identical to the original 3D design.

Spot the difference

Bathroom design has come a long way since the days of hand-drawn sketches on A4 paper. New virtual imaging software allows us to bring your bathroom dreams to life in immaculate detail. What’s more, a ground-breaking 4D “virtual reality” tool lets you fully immerse yourself into your new room before spending a penny!

We are one of a handful of UK bathroom companies with an elite level of understanding of 3D & 4D design software. Nathan Maclean, Managing Director of Virtual Worlds, says: “& So To Bathe’s luxury bathroom designs are as good as you’ll see anywhere in the UK. The attention to detail and the quality of the rendering is remarkable, and really showcases the power of 3D and 4D design tools.”

With our in-house design team offering step-by-step guidance, customers simply strap on the VR goggles and start calling the shots. What’s more, instant access to thousands of real products, tiles and colours let homeowners fine-tune their bathrooms down to the smallest detail.

Here’s a handful of our favourite bathrooms before and after:

#1 —  Mannings Heath Loft Conversion

3-sided frameless shower enclosure in loft conversion

We recently finished this spacious loft conversion with 3-sided frameless 10mm shower enclosure by Theshowerlab. They wanted a large, open feel to their showering experience, especially with sunlight beaming in from the large velux window.

#2 — Banstead Shower Room

Before and after bathroom 3D design

Our brief was to create a modern, monochrome bathroom design with clean lines and a simple colour pallet. Although hardly a small bathroom, the customers wanted to enhance the sense of space with a large triple-door mirrored cabinet from our Deuco collection. The corner shower quadrant is also a clever space-saver.

#3 — Horsham Family Bathroom

Alcove bath tub next to walk in shower

We transformed an old, dated family bathroom and re-energised the space with a careful selection of British  products. while preserving the traditional look that the customers wanted. The highlight is a large walk in shower area butted up against an alcove bathtub. The hand shower valve was eventually lowered to accommodate the customer’s children, who pointed out the flaw while wearing 4D goggles!

#4 — Horsham Shower Room

These homeowners loved the feature tiles and three-door mirrored cabinet, making a last-minute change to the double wash-hand basins by German manufacturers Bette. After chopping and changing tiles in the 4D Theatre, they were blown away by the “Artisan” decorative tile from our vast tiles collection.

#5 — Southwater Scandinavian Bathroom

Bathroom 3D image and finished design

This design brings a slice of Scandinavia to the heart of Sussex. Boasting easy-to-clean, large format tiles and Scandinavian oak furniture by Dansani. The sleek wall-hung WC pan lends a futuristic feel, and the velux windows let in a generous amount of sunlight. In the end, the customers opted for a slightly darker wood colour for their cabinets — all part of a design process where the user can tweak every little detail.
